The Queen Valley Sanitary District held a Special Meeting on July 14, 2023, at the Queen Valley District Office explaining the proposed rate increases.
Queen Valley Sanitary District Found it necessary to increase rates to meet expenses generated by Plant modifications and necessities needed to keep the plant running and up to date.
The new rates as of July 1, 2023 are as follows:
Residential - $50.00 a month
Availability Fee - $25.00 a month
Availability Fee: Lots and Parcels in the district which are adjacent to a sewer line, shall pay an availability fee of $25.00 per month, for the benefit of those lots or parcels having the sewer line and capacity in the treatment plant and effluent disposal facilities to accommodate the development of the property.
Connection Fee: A connection/inspection fee of $2,000, per parcel, payable prior to time of connection, shall be paid for service to Residential Parcels.
Disconnection Fee: A disconnect fee will be assessed on an individual basis as determined by the Board of Directors.
